Abstract
"Focus on Building & Real Estate" piece on Seminary Redevelopment LLC's recent purchase of the Bangor Theological Seminary campus for $1.65 million. The school has downsized to a home at Bangor's Husson College. The company's two principals, Paul Cook, a successful Bangor developer, and Kenneth Ray of Portland, have filled 21 apartments with tenants and plan to sell the Hannibal Hamlin house on campus for under $400,000. The site can be used by nonprofits, but not commercially, and presents distinct challenges that the two believe they can surmount. With details on the future of the Bangor Theological Seminary and on plans for its former campus.
