"In Short." The United States Department of Labor awarded the State of Maine a $457,036 grant to retrain workers from the closed Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna; Striar Textiles in Orono; and Gerber Childrenswear in Fort Kent. The grant-funded program will run through December 31, 1998.
