Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on a $28 million cut in the Maine Department of Transportation's budget, despite the doubling of the cost of asphalt over the last two years and needed road and bridge repairs. Vehicle registration, title, and vanity plate fees were increased to help pay for work on bridges.
