Abstract
This year's Maine Boatbuilders Show will attract 200 exhibitors to the Portland Yacht Services building. Since 1988, the show has featured the best-regarded builders of power boats, sail boats, skiffs and kayaks. The majority are from Maine, but many states are represented. It attracts serious boat enthusiasts and buyers who want to speak directly to boatmakers and technicians. Related article on Damariscotta River sailmaker Nat Wilson, who invented a brand new sail cloth, Oceanus, for North Sails. He built new sails for the USS Constitution, among other boats.
