Abstract

"Focus on Building & Real Estate" piece on the transformation of Wharf St. in Portland's Old Port, from an area heavily populated by bars to a more balanced blend of restaurants and retail stores. Steve Baumann, a commercial broker for C.B. Richard Ellis/The Boulos Co., began the change and is still working closely with new owners, Kalmon Dolgin, a New York City real estate firm that bought the Bauman family's 50,000 square-foot holdings last year.
