Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the "Speed Matters" report from Speedmatters.org, which shows that Maine ranked 35th in the nation in download speed in 2007, improved to 21st place in 2008. The report also pointed out that an entire movie can be downloaded in Japan in two minutes, whereas it can take two or more hours in Maine. Some businesses in the state still get by with dial up.
