Abstract

"Focus on Health Care" piece on Mercy Hospital's new 44-acre campus on the Fore River, which opened in Portland this month. The $85 million project will allow all functions requiring short stays and parking, except for the emergency room, to move from the old and increasingly cramped State Street site. Mercy will continue to operate on both campuses for several years, with plans for a second phase of the project due for completion by 2018.
