Abstract

A look at the effect that President-elect Barack Obama's proposed tax plan might have on Mainer's incomes. Under the plan, the 3 percent of Maine's taxpayers making more than $200,000 a year will pay $77 million more in federal tax. For the rest of Maine's taxpayers, taxes would likely go down.
