Abstract

"From the Ground Up" piece on a proposal by Cianbro Corp. CEO Peter Vigue that would upgrade Maine's transmission system and facilitate transmission of renewable energy by burying new lines underground in the I-95 median. The approach would eliminate transactions with 8,000 landowners and 110 municipalities, facilitating Central Maine Power Co.'s Maine Power Reliability Program.
