Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece on a collaboration between Pittsfield-based Cianbro Corp. and Bangor-based Eastern Maine Community College, which could be used as a model for programs in the company's Maryland and Connecticut offices. Through the program, employees can apply workplace training toward an associate's degree in applied science in general technology, with Cianbro paying the tuition fee. The program will help Cianbro attract and retain talent.
