Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on questions members of the Legislature's Committee on Utilities and Energy have about whether Public Advocate Richard Davies has represented the interests of Maine ratepayers, based on his lack of input on a recent ocean energy bill. Rep. Michael Thibodeau, R-Winterport, said Davies has regularly missed the committee work sessions and has not provided the panel with an independent review of the extensive proposals. The concerns expressed are bi-partisan.
