Abstract

"Focus on Building & Real Estate" piece with a profile of Kevin Mattson, whose Augusta-based firm was among Maine's top commercial real estate firms in 2008. At the height of the real estate boom, Mattson Development had 30 employees. That number is now down to five, and the company is slowly reviving its development business. Mattson's Worcester House conversion in Hallowell was helped by historic tax credits approved by the Legislature in 2008. Mattson's efforts aided passage of the bill.
