Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on a decision by the Maine Public Utilities Commission that Central Maine Power should foot 30 percent of the cost of damages of the December 2008 ice storm, while ratepayers pay for the rest. The PUC said better vegetation management by CMP might have reduced storm damage to power lines.
