Abstract

"Working Knowledge: Part V of VI, on the needs of four key industries and how to meet them. The Links at Outlook in South Berwick hosts weddings at The Red Barn overlooking the golf course, generating revenues that mitigate the impact the recession has had on leisure activities. Hotel owners and innkeepers are also supporting their flagging businesses with weddings, bridal showers, and other events. With statistics on 10-year wedding costs and market value in Maine, wedding spending and market value by category, and total wedding spending in Maine in 2009.
