Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on a plan to shift funding within the Department of Marine Resources to keep three positions that are necessary to meet federal health inspection standards. The original funding package planned for adjusted fee increases to fund the positions but Governor Paul LePage instead directed lawmakers use funding from existing resources.
