Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the budget work that needs to be completed by the Maine Legislature before the June 15 deadline. Pensions, tax cuts, and the Department of Health and Human Services will likely be some of the topics up for discussion. The legislators have been encouraged by better than expected state revenues from corporate and personal income taxes and sales taxes.
