Abstract
A new Bangor outpatient mental health clinic called Meadow Wood, operated under Acadia Heath Care Inc., aims to assist executives and professionals who might otherwise go without treatment due to fear of career ramifications. Unlike other health clinics, Meadow Wood does not bill insurance companies because of confidentiality concerns. Many of their clients travel great distances and pay out of pocket because they appreciate the measures taken by Meadow Wood to protect their anonymity and privacy.
