Abstract

"Venture Builder" piece about the Obama administration's plan to support innovation and entrepreneurs through regional innovation clusters and more recent push for more advanced manufacturing jobs, which often pay higher wages and also help the U.S. compete in the global economy. Gurau states that the president's efforts to encourage high-impact horizontal and vertical cluster development are wise because they are smart investments and are supported by both Democrats and Republicans.
