Abstract

"Focus Western Maine" interview with former governor Angus King about recent delays in his wind power project in Highland Plantation. He and his partner, Rob Gardiner, put the project on hold in May after the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife deemed the potential impacts of the wind project on wildlife as unacceptable. The interview covers King's past involvement with hydropower, issues with the Highland project such as visibility and wildlife habitat, and future plans for the Highland project.
