Abstract

"Focus Real Estate/Construction/Design" piece on form-based code, adopted by Standish's town council but rejected by voters in Damariscotta. While traditional use-based zoning creates specific areas for different types of development, form-based codes focus on how a new building would fit in with existing structures and streets nearby to create a mixed-use "village" atmosphere.
