Abstract

"Focus Greater Bangor" piece on the joint efforts of the Eastern Maine Development Corporation and GAC Chemical to leverage the existing air, highway, rail, and shipping assets of the region and form a logistics hub for the Bangor/Searsport area. These efforts could lead to economic development for the entire region and are occurring at the same time that private investors are significantly expanding the capacity of the port of Searsport.
