Abstract

The winners of the recent pitch competition at the Juice Conference 3.0: Celebrating Risk held in Camden were tech-related companies with solid sales and marketing plans. Newfield Design Inc. in West Newfield won the grand prize award of a $100,000 convertible note for their software that will help extend two-way radio communication. Evergreen Home Performance in Rockland won $25,000 in flexible debt for their whole-house energy efficiency strategies and Cerahelix in Orono won $5,000 in cash and in-kind services for their development of DNA coating that can be used in ceramic water filtration systems.
