Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on Gov. Paul LePage's frustration with the Legislature's decision to increase instead of decrease the percentage of renewable energy sources in the state's electricity supply and his desire to change the members of the Legislature's Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee. Democrats on the committee voiced their concern about the governor's intrusion into legislative business and the committee's Republican leadership were surprised by the governor's comments and noted the governor's annoyance with the legislative process.
