Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the state of Maine's revenues. Finance Commissioner Sawin Millett expects that the state will have a surplus at the end of the fiscal year but will not estimate what the surplus amount might be. Sales tax revenue for the past nine months is $11 million better than expected and March proved to be a very good month with revenues $13.5 million above estimates.
