Abstract

"Focus Down East" piece is an edited transcript of a one-hour interview with Thomas Saturley, the owner of Tranzon Auction Properties, on the foreclosure auction of the Live Lobster Co. processing plant in Prospect Harbor. Saturley discusses the importance of the property to the community as a source of jobs and to the lobster industry as a whole, which has lately seen much of its processing shipped to Canada. With a timeline outlining the history of the Live Lobster plant from 1906 to 2012.
