Abstract

More than two dozen Maine companies showed off their products at the Maine Technology Institute's Innovation Economy Showcase held at the Colisee in Lewiston. New MTI president Bob Martin organized the event in order to heighten awareness of the state's innovative companies and to help investors, government officials, and other entrepreneurs realize that there is more to Maine's economy than timber, paper, and shoe manufacturing. The event provided participants with an opportunity to meet face-to-face and connect, a key factor in the success of entrepreneurship.
