Abstract

“Focus Safety & Security” piece on Invisible Intelligence LLC, a Maine company founded by Ron Cote and John Guimond. They are at work on a patent-pending computer system designed for smaller airports that records and saves pilot and airport radio transmissions. Their General Audio Recording Device, or G.A.R.D., is in use at 13 airports in four states and will allow airport managers to log traffic data and to access firsthand accounts of events in the case of accidents.
