Abstract

“On the Record” piece presents an edited transcript of an interview with Heather Blease, founder of a new call center company, SaviLinx, at Brunswick Landing. Her target market is the U.S. government, which does not outsource offshore, which was the problem she ran into with her earlier call center, EnvisioNet. Blease discusses why she chose to locate the center at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station, the benefits of landing government contracts, and her decision to use cloud-based infrastructure.
