Abstract

“Focus York County” piece on economic planners in York county who are trying to promote job growth in the region and entice 30-somethings to settle in the area. Portland, Portsmouth, and Boston are also vying for the millennial generation, young adults who value walkable communities. To this end, regional planners are focused on revitalizing downtowns, strengthening mass transit options, and foster manufacturing jobs.
