Abstract

For the past two years, Brian Boru Public House and Restaurant has opened at 6:00 am on St. Patrick's Day, where it is the place to be in Portland. Downplaying microbrews, the pub sells more Guiness than any bar north of Boston. Brian Boru's popularity, along with the new Stone Coast Brewery and the renovated Tracy-Causer Building, indicates the renewal of Gorham's Corner.
