With profiles of: Ramunas Stepanauskas, senior research scientist and director of Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences; Kate McAleer, owner of Bixby & Co., chocolate bar manufacturers; Chris Thompson, principal of Forefront Partners, a real estate development firm with plans for Portland’s Thompson’s Point; Don Cynewski, General Manager of Ducktrap River of Maine, a smoked seafood business in Belfast; Ryan Jackson, CEO of MPX and SFX America, a Portland-based company that processes electronic and mailed statements; Tyler Frank, CEO of Portland’s Garbage to Garden subscription-based composting business; Dan Kerluke, CEO and co-founder of Double Blue Sports Analytics, Orono, maker of sports analytics software; Janine Cary, president and state director of international trade at the Maine International Trade Center; Alan Gibson, co-founder and principal/builder, and Matt O’Malia, co-founder and principal/architect, both of G-O Logic LLC of Belfast, a firm that builds energy efficient homes.
