“The List” of Maine’s highest-paid state employees, ranked by total annual compensation, 2013. The three highest out of the thirteen listed are, in descending order: Margaret S. Greenwald, chief medical examiner; Michelle W. Gardner, clinical director of the Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center; and George E. Davis, physician III, Riverview Psychiatric Center.
