Abstract

First-term legislator Martin Grohman is a member of the Energy, Utilities and Technology committee. His goal for Maine is to continue to have the cheapest, cleanest power in the nation. For that to succeed, he believes power sources need to be a combination of wind, solar, biomass (the source of most of Maine’s renewable power) and natural-gas-fired power and a restructured REC (renewable energy credit) market that will draw in cheaper renewable power.
