Abstract

Kathryn Woodson Barr, head of Catherine McAuley High School in Portland, relates to the readers the philosophical foundation of the school, and its goal of educating girls with dreams of becoming women of vision and action. The mission is applied with a STREAM-based curricula, akin to STEM, but with an ethical behavior rooted in religious and spiritual teachings.
