Abstract
Dan Bell, general manager of Agri-Cycle Energy, and Adam Wintel, managing partner of Exeter Agri-Energy created these companies to convert food waste into a bio-gas. The other environmentally-friendly advantages of their businesses are that it keeps food waste from going into landfills, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, produces a local source of renewable heat and electricity, and creates nutrient-rich soil amendments.Some of the challenges they have faced are addresses, as well has legislation that will promote food-to-waste-energy projects is presented as well.
