Abstract

While federal agencies increased overall science and engineering funding by 6% in fiscal year 2014 over 2013, Maine's universities were not awarded as many National Science Foundation (NSF) grants in fiscal 2014. A textbox illustrating the amount of federal support to New England colleges and universities is included.
