Abstract

Elaine Abbott, Eastport's city manager and Mainebiz NEXT honoree, has been active in helping develop its downtown area, accessing funding to repair the city's main breakwater and new terminal at Eastport Municipal Airport, and advocating for improved broadband. She will be stepping down from her role as city manager in November 2016 and was awarded the Maine Town and City Management Association "Rising Star" award. [image]
