Abstract
The Acadia region saw on uptick in number of visitors in 2016. This was due, in part, to Acadia National Park's centennial celebration and a marketing push enacted by the Bar Harbor Chamber four years prior. Challenges the region faced during this period were mainly due to congestion. Some people worried that the greater numbers put a strain on the natural resources of the park. [images]
