Abstract
Notable commercial developments in Maine are featured, including projects with the Jackson Lab in Bar Harbor, apartments at 101 York Street in Portland, multi-use buildings at 667 Congress Street and 16 Middle Street in Portland, condominium development at Seaport Lofts in Portland, an addition to the senior living facility The Park Danforth in Portland, and an addition to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Details of the projects are described. While growth is good, the shortage of skilled labors and the fact that most of the growth is in southern Maine which does bring as much benefit to northern or more rural regions of the state indicates the state needs a more diverse portfolio of development in order to benefit more communities.
