Abstract

Acadia National Park, Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and other institutions are collaborating with an initiative to use the Acadia Natinoal Park as a learning lab to help students acquire skills applicable to STEM discipline, as well as fostering the knowledge to care for the environment. The program was founded by IDEXX Laboratories founder David Shaw and is described in the article. [images]
