Abstract
This issue of Mainebiz focuses on energy. The introductory page to the Focus section presents the seven largest power plants in Maine, who owns them, where the company headquarters are located, a brief description of the company, its website and NYSE symbol, if applicable. The owners are NextEra Energy Inc. (Yarmouth 4, Yarmouth 3, Yarmouth 2, Yarmouth 1); Calphine Corp. (Westbrook Energy Center G1, Westbrook Energy Center G2); Emera Energy Services (Rumford Power); Dyngy Marketing and Trade LLC (Maine Independence Station 1, Maine Independence Station 2); Bucksport Generation LLC (Bucksport Energy 4); Brookfield Renewable Power (Great Lakes Hydro America); and ReEnergy Holdings LLC (ReEnergy-Stratton).
