Abstract

Short article explaining the increase in minimum wage for tipped restaurant workers that was repealed at the behest of restaurant employees themselves. A grassroots social media movement got the attention of the legislation and they repeal the initiative which was designed to help raise wages, but actually did the opposite when diners mistakenly believed there was not a need to tip their servers.
