Longer article about the shortage of new lawyers wanting to practice in Northern Maine, along with the retirement of many Maine lawyers is creating issues with people being able to secure legal help. Includes information about the Rural Lawyer Pilot Project which was launched by the Maine Justice Foundation. Also includes a short bit about the Maine Volunteer Lawyers effort to use technology to provide legal help in rural Maine. Includes charts, data and statistics about registered attorneys by Maine counties, and other data.
