Abstract
Article profiles the Bates College initiative called Purposeful Work. The program helps students identify the work that will fill their hours, earn an income and hopefully give purpose to themselves and help others. Students consider What am I interested in? What am I good at? and How do I contribute to purposes larger than myself? in the four year program.
