Abstract

"In Short." The SuperLoan program from Maine Education Services underwrites one percent of interest on federally guaranteed Stafford and PLUS education loans. Maine students borrowed $120 million under these programs last year. The state also operates a travelling information center on education loans, called Higher Education Resources Outreach.
