Abstract

A look at three Maine textile companies. Flowfold, Gorham, makes lightweight wallets and other gear out of composite materials. Hyperlite Mountain Gear makes lightweight outdoor gear and is based in Biddeford. American Roots uses American-sourced material to make blankets and apparel in Westbrook's renovated Dana Warp Mill building.
