Abstract

A look at how Maine's power supply has changed in the past 25 years. In 1994, 33% of the state's net electricity generation came from the Maine Yankee nuclear power station and 20% from petroleum-fueled generation. Renewable energy sources now account for about 85% of Maine's net electricity generation.
