Abstract
Brief piece about two referendums approved by Portland voters that some real estate developers say may drive investors out of the city. Brit Vitalius, Tom Watson, and Ron Gan say the new regulations on the number of units of affordable housing that must be built, as well as the requirement to use union labor, will hinder new construction.
