Abstract

A brief look at the controversy over KV Enterprise’s proposal to build a mixed-use complex on land owned by L.L. Bean. Residents protested the size of the project. Bean president Stephen Smith said the company will pause on its plan to sell the land until there is agreement with the town and residents over the best use of the land.
