Abstract

Maine's shipyards continue to experience growth. Bath Iron Works recently began sea trials on a new destroyer and hopes to hire another few thousand workers in 2021. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery is investing in its infrastructure and looking into ways to create workforce housing for its employees.
